Courtney arrived at our temporary emergency shelter the night before Hurricane Irma made landfall– and it was none too soon.
She was covered in deep wounds and walked with a painful limp. She needed immediate medical care, and our Shelter Medicine Team rushed to her side.
Courtney was endlessly loving and kind despite all the pain she had endured, and now her wounds are healing in a loving AHS foster home– all thanks to you support.
She still needs a little more time to heal, but this playful girl will be available for adoption soon. Her smile can light up a room, and she gets along well with other dogs!
